Every day is a GREAT day in SFSD classrooms! Thursday was extra special as Supt. Stavem and Board Member Marc Murren surprised six educators by naming them finalists for the Dr. John W. Harris Teacher of the Year Award! Please join us in congratulating these amazing educators!
We are proud to celebrate our EFA+ K02 teacher, Ms. Wiebelhaus, for being selected as a finalist for Teacher of the Year!
Five finalists were chosen from sixty-six nominees from across the district.
The 2023 Dr. John W. Harris Teacher of the Year will be announced on Monday, February 27th, 2023.

In P.E. Kindergarten and 1st grade are working on holding a hockey stick and striking the puck toward a target. 2nd through 5th grade are working on striking at the goal and being the goalie.
EFA+ hosted a blood drive today! Staff and community members donated to help save lives.

Students in 503 had the opportunity to learn about and celebrate Chinese New Year.
The EFA+ 5th graders are hard at work preparing their art and monologues for their Monologue Museum.
The Monologue Museum will be presented on Monday, March 6th from 6:00-7:00pm.
5th graders enjoyed some tea while learning about silversmith Paul Revere, and his famous teapot made in 1796.

1st graders use their Body Smart and Math Smart skills to tell time to the hour and half hour.
Even though we have unimaginable amounts of snow, and it is so very cold…smiles can be found at EFA+ during indoor recess!
