EFA+ 2nd graders designed cupcakes in Art. They designed the look of the cupcakes and also the flavors.
Oh My Cupcakes! has agreed to create and sell real cupcakes inspired by our student designs this year.
Each quarter a new cupcake design will be announced and available for a week at a time at Oh My Cupcakes! and at EFA+ events.
Our first quarter cupcake named "Super Cupcake" was designed by Elaine.
Super Cupcake is made of chocolate cake, salted caramel filling, topped with chocolate buttercream, and white chocolate curls.
Super Cupcake minis will be available for sale tomorrow night at the Fall Festival for $3 a piece.
Funds raised will go toward paying for ALL 2nd graders to visit and tour Oh My Cupcakes! and learn more about the art of cupcakes!
Special thanks to Melissa, Jayne, and Chef McKenna from Oh My Cupcakes! for allowing our 2nd graders this amazing opportunity.
Congratulations, Elaine! Stay tuned for more cupcake news throughout the year.
