
Hearing and Vision Screens will be done on students in 1st, 3rd and 5th grade on Thursday, September 19th.



Our 1st grade tried three different kinds of apples to prepare for our field trip to the Apple Orchard. Yum!







Each year, on September 17, Americans celebrate Constitution Day and Citizenship Day. Our 4th and 5th grade did a scavenger hunt today while learning about the Constitution.









4th graders worked together to build systems.




Our 5th grade helped during Library. Our Spanish speaking Kindergarten friends light up when they are able to communicate with someone during library stations. Thanks for being buddies and helpers!





Reminder...Riverside Soccer starts tomorrow at the Pioneer Spray Park. Registration is at 8:45 am, Soccer 9:15-10:30 am with a family lunch to follow. We hope to see you there! LBA

Chess Club will once again be offered at LBA. This will be open to 2nd thru 5th grade students. They will meet on Tuesdays after school, 2:45 pm to 3:30pm starting Sept. 24 for 8 weeks - ending on November 12. Parents will need to provide transportation home. Please return sign-ups to the office by Monday, September 16 if you want your student to participate in Chess Club.

Congratulations to Mr. Timas! He recently became a U.S. citizen at a naturalization ceremony. We are so proud of you!



What a great first week of school! It is great to be back together as a learning community.


Our Early Childhood teachers hosted a welcome back to school picnic at the park. Bubbles, chalk, good food and good times.




Reminder...Open House is tomorrow, Tuesday, August 20th, 8-10 am or 4-6 pm. Come to whichever session works for your family. We will have staff to help with registrations and lunch applications and you can meet your child's teacher. We hope to see you there!
