Miss Leloux's 3rd graders went to Dow Rummel Assisted Living on October 20th to visit the residents. This has been a previous All City tradition that had been interrupted the past few years due to Covid so we are excited to get to go back! Residents and students had an awesome time hanging up door decorations and visiting with residents in their rooms while dressed up in their Halloween costumes. After that, students read to the residents. We had a great time volunteering and can't wait to go back!
Our Pizza Ranch Fundraiser is on Monday, November 13 from 5-8 pm!
Remember to invite everyone you can! They can eat in and we get 10% of the proceeds! Plus we get to keep all the tips that go in our buckets. Mondays are also half price games in the Fun Zone so it’s the perfect day to come out to Pizza Ranch with the family!

Meet our new clerical, Sheri Glover! We are very appreciative of all of her help every day helping Jane Addams run smoothly! She is doing a fantastic job learning all of the new systems and getting to know all of the students and families! Be sure to wish her a happy belated birthday as she celebrated earlier this week! Student Council elections were held on Wednesday, October 18th! Students were excited to check in to vote, receive a ballot, and cast their vote in the voting booth! Thank you to Rob Hollan for organizing and running Student Council! Congrats to all of the winners! All candidates should be proud of their efforts as it takes a lot of courage to say a speech in front of their peers, present a poster, and run for election! Great job to all!
The second graders set a class goal of reaching 500 tickets so they could earn a stuffie party in class! They did it! Way to go!

It's Coding Week in Family! Students got to program and code Ozobots robots, code on the Osmos, and play a coding game online called Interland! Students will get to rotate through the stations all week during Family! Cool!
Miss Nelson's 4th graders and Mrs. Gray's 5th graders meet once a week with their buddy classroom from Mrs. Peterson's 4th-5th grade class from EIC. They enjoy playing games with each other!
The K-2 Science Club were engineers today while building towers out of paper to see if they could withhold the weight of a can for 30 seconds! They were so excited to test out their builds! Way to go! Thanks for all of the parent help!
Chess Club members love to quiz over the rules and play chess against their friends! Thanks Anthony and David for volunteering your time to this after school club on Wednesdays!

The first swimming Friday was a blast! Students get to go to Embe to swim once a month! They have a blast when K-1, then 4-5, and 2-3 get to swim together! So much fun!
