The Mayor’s Youth Council provides teens a voice on community issues and the opportunity to learn about City government and develop leadership skills.

Roosevelt Jobs for America's Graduates students traveled to DakotAbilities for the first Career Connections job site visit of the new school year. Students learned more about careers in the human services and health fields, and experienced first-hand the important services provided by this organization. Stay tuned for more JAG Adventures!

Roosevelt High School would like to welcome Trevor DeShepper to our staff. He will be in the Special Education Department and will be team teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra.


Roosevelt High School would like to welcome Claire Brothers to our staff. She is in the physical education department and teaches Lifetime Wellness & Yoga, Cardio Fitness, and Basic Strength Training.


Today, the City of Sioux Falls and Sioux Area Metro pulled up at Roosevelt High School to explain the public transit "Kids Ride Free Initiative." As the city works to increase ridership and build future transit users, children can ride SAM buses with a School ID/Freedom Pass.



Tackle Hunger Before the Bowl is September 1-8 at Scheels! The WINNING School will receive a $5,000 donation. Let's go RIDERS!!!


SD residents will be able to apply to SD colleges for FREE from October 3 to November 30!


School drop-offs and pick-ups can be messy! Take your time, stay alert, and obey the rules of the road. A safe and orderly process makes the day start and end on a positive note for both students and parents!
